Inexpensive Golf EquipmentOK, most of us will never be on the PGA. I know I’m not expecting to be walking down the fairway or the US Open with Tiger Woods any time soon. I do, however, try to improve my game where I can. Does inexpensive golf equipment influence my game? This golf equipment question is one that keeps coming up.Does inexpensive golf equipment influence the game? Well let think about that. I consider myself average when it comes to striking a golf ball. When I say average I mean that I have a handicap but I can shoot an even par from time to time. My golf clubs are passed down from another generation but I feel comfortable with them. I think that is the point. Hand me a new Ping driver or an old McGregor the result will most likely be the McGregor (mine by the way) will out perform the Ping. At least it will for me. I can hit a slice with anything. That is why I’m not so sure that spending a fortune on equipment would make a great difference. To a Pro……Yes……To the average golfer ….. stay with the equipment you are friendly with.I guess what I am saying is don’t mistake the word inexpensive and cheap. My old clubs are not cheap or cheaply made but they are inexpensive. Remember golfers take good care of the equipment they own. The idea is that if you have to play your game with equipment you are comfortable with before you consider buying expensive equipment.Keeping that thought in mind I am always on the look out for clubs and other inexpensive golf equipment to try before I spend a lot on a set. Sometime looking for this equipment can be fun. Here is a site that offers good value and a little price. The Golf Store for inexpensive golf equipment.
